The Roundtable

Open to development professionals in the nonprofit sector, in the monthly Roundtable sessions, we discuss and workshop around a theme including major gifts, board development, corporate partnerships, institutional giving and more.

Why this is Important

Over the past two years, I’ve noticed how disconnected and isolated people have become mainly due to the pandemic, but also because of so many competing priorities. When I hosted workshops and pro bono groups, I noticed how people were able to connect with each other, to share insights and resources to help address challenges and obstacles in life. It gave them a sense of community, and feeling of support and accountability to the things they wanted to see realized in their lives. It was beautiful to see strangers coming together around a common purpose of making a difference in the world, and forming strong friendships.

So I decided to expand the work I’m doing and create a community for those in my universe and others. I call it the Impact Inner Circle

This circle is created for professionals who are working in social good sectors (nonprofit, philanthropy, social impact, government) and/or those who desire to make a positive impact with their lives. It’s a safe space to discuss challenges and workshop possible solutions. It’s a space to develop new skills and mastery, and also to share resources, wisdom, and gain new perspectives.

Through the Impact Inner Circle, there will be monthly speakers series where an expert, leader or a coach will facilitate a session on issues pertaining to career management, professional development or job search. We’ll also have mastermind professional development sessions and a virtual meet-up and an opportunity to connect and network with other like-minded professionals. Lastly, this will be the second year of The Roundtable, where nonprofit development professionals meet on a monthly basis to gain fundraising mastery and workshop specific case scenarios and challenges. Most importantly, this is a space for building authentic relationships and communities. I hope you can join us because I truly believe we can make a greater impact when we do it together.
